According to Deadline production on the third instalment of Warner Bros. and J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts series has been delayed. The film, which was scheduled to begin shooting in July, reportedly won’t go into production until November 2019. While nothing has been confirmed at this point, Deadline reports that Warner Bros. wants to give the filmmakers more time in pre-production.
The third Fantastic Beasts film was scheduled for release on November 20, 2020, meaning filmmakers would need to complete filming and post-production in just a year. We’re still not sure if Warner Bros. plans to change the release date, but don’t be surprised if Fantastic Beasts 3 is delayed to give the filmmakers more time in post-production.
