When will the movie be set?

It seems the third Fantastic Beasts film will continue to show different wizarding cultures, as the film will take place largely in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Production designer Stuart Craig revealed that the film might also travel to Germany, although this has not yet been confirmed.

What is the movie about?

As for what has been revealed about the movie, Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) said that the film will be “bigger than the first two combined.” When describing the movie, J.K. Rowling was careful not to reveal too much, but said that the film will offer answers to many fan questions.

Will supporting characters return?

Jessica Williams will have a much larger role in the third movie as Lally Hicks, a professor as Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United States of America. Could this suggest that the movie will travel back to America?

Victoria Yeates will also return as Newt Scamander’s assitant, Bunty. While nothing has been confirmed, Bunty is expected to have a larger role following her introduction in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald.

After her shocking introduction in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, Claudia Kim will return as Nagini.

When And Where Will Filming Take Place?

We’re currently unsure when filming on Fantastic Beasts 3 will begin. David Yates was scheduled to start shooting in Iceland back in March, however the Coronavirus pandemic halted production. This was likely to shoot some scenes in Nurmengard, which was the castle shown at the end of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald.
