From Bowtruckles to Billywigs, we’re ranking the cutest magical creatures in the Wizarding World!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is full of badass, imaginative and immensely adorable magical creatures, with many capturing the hearts of fans around the world! With the third Fantastic Beasts movie officially on the way (filming should resume in the UK soon), we wanted to take moment to shine a light on these incredibly cute creatures by ranking based solely on their adorableness.

10. DIRICRAWLS
The Diricrawl (known to Muggles as the Dodo) is an adorable and majestic bird, which is believed to be extinct by the Muggle community! While the Diricrawl has previously existed in the Muggle world, the creatures are nothing short of magical! The fact that they have the ability to apparate away from danger also helps them find a spot on this list of the Wizarding World‘s most adorable creatures!
9. DEMIGUISE
Of all the creatures in the Wizarding World, a Demiguise is easily one of the most peaceful and adorable! These friendly, herbivorous creatures have an incredibly cute appearance (like a little old lady), and their ability to turn invisible only makes them more amazing!
8. UNICORN
Unicorns aren’t exactly exclusive to the Harry Potter series, but it’s impossible to deny that the Unicorn is one of the most majestic and beautiful creatures to appear in the Wizarding World! While fans of the movies never got to see a proper Unicorn, book readers were gifted with an outrageously adorable description!
7. BABY DRAGON
As we learned in Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone, Baby Dragons don’t make for the best pets and they grow into ferocious beasts, but they’re also pretty darn cute! If you can manage to avoid their sharp-teeth and fiery breath, you’ll be just fine with these adorable creatures!
6. FWOOPER
Like a number of creatures on this list, Fwoopers aren’t exactly the most famous or well-known magical creatures. While a Fwoopers high-pitched song can drive the listener insane, their adorable appearance and brightly-coloured feathers (which varu in colour) earn them a spot on this list!
5. OCCAMY
You can’t rank the cutest magical creatures in the Wizarding World without including the Occamy! These adorable winged serpents can be quite aggressive, but their ability to shrink or grow to fit any space make them one of the cutest creatures in the Wizarding World!
4. MOONCALF
The Mooncalf might not be the most well-known magical creature in the Wizarding World, but it’s undoubtedly one of the cutest! Briefly appearing in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, these strangely gorgeous creatures have giant eyes and abnormally long necks – giving them a creepy but undeniably cute appearance!
3. PYGMY PUFF
These adorably tiny creatures, which are miniature versions of the Puffskein, are unquestionably one of the cutest magical creatures to appear in the Wizarding World! Bred by Fred and George and sold in their famous sweet shop, these beautiful balls of fluff are simply precious!
2. BOWTRUCKLE
Bowtruckle’s aren’t only one of the cutest magical creatures in the Wizarding World, but they’re also pretty handy! Known for being great lock-pickers, these pocket-sized beauties are without a doubt one of the most lovable creatures in the world of Harry Potter!
1. NIFFLER
When it comes to the cutest magical creatures that the Wizarding World has to offer, the Niffler is quite easily at the top of our ranking! This incredibly adorable creature, which is perhaps best known for its role in the Fantastic Beasts series, is attracted to anything shiny – making them great for a treasure hunting expedition!
