The third Fantastic Beasts movie was one of many Hollywood blockbusters to halt production due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but it looks like the film is getting ready to begin filming soon! In a recent report explaining when Matt Reeves’ The Batman will resume filming, Variety revealed that production on the third Fantastic Beasts film will “likely resume” next month.
The next instalment of the Fantastic Beasts series will take Newt Scamander and his pals to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, where they will undoubtedly clash with the villainous Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). The film, which is scheduled for release on November 12, 2021, will see the return of Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Johny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald, Ezra Miller as Credence/Aurelius Dumbledore, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski and Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander. v
