In the Harry Potter universe, the Patronus Charm is one of the most mysterious and challenging spells a witch or wizard can perform, which is why many in the wizarding community are shocked to learn that Harry can conjure a full-formed Patronus at such a young age. When done correctly, a Patronus takes the form of a silvery animal, which represents the spirit animal of the witch or wizard that conjured it.
