Hogwarts Legacy Still On Track For 2022 Release

The release of Hogwarts Legacy, the new open-world Harry Potter game, has been the topic of much discussion in recent weeks. With a noticeable lack of marketing surrounding the game, industry insiders began to speculate that Hogwarts Legacy could have been delayed (for a second time) to next year. Those rumours have now been officially squashed, however, as a new article from WizardingWorld.com has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is still on track to release later this year.

While looking ahead at everything the franchise has to come in 2022, Wizarding World confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will still be releasing at some point in 2022. See what they said below:

“2022 is also the year when the highly anticipated console game from Warner Bros. Games’ Portkey Games label, Hogwarts Legacy, is set to be released. Developed by Avalanche Software, this action RPG allows players to be at the centre of their own adventure set during the late 1800s wizarding world. From learning powerful spells and brewing potions, to honing combat skills and taming magical beasts, this game will allow players to experience the magical world as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry like never before as they determine the fate of the entire wizarding world.”

Officially revealed in 2020, Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most exciting upcoming games, espcially for fans of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchise. While we still wait for a new trailer and official release date, it’s exciting to know that the game is still on track for a 2022 release.
