Ryan Reynolds Meets His Younger Self In The First Trailer For ‘The Adam Project’

Netflix has debuted the first trailer for its upcoming sci-fi movie The Adam Project, which reunites Ryan Reynolds with Free Guy director Shawn Levy.

In The Adam Project, which will begin streaming on Netflix in March, Reynolds portrays time-travelling pilot Adam Reed. When Adam’s ship is damaged, he finds himself stranded in the year 2022 with his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell) and his father, portrayed by Mark Ruffalo.

The Adam Project looks like it’ll be a great follow-up to Free Guy for director Shawn Levy. While it’s impossible to say from the trailer alone, it looks like we’ve got a funny, surprisingly touching father-son story on our hands, with some explosive alien action thrown in for good measure.

Check out the trailer below:

Directed by Shawn Levy, The Adam Project stars Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Walker Scobell, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Garner. The film will be released on Netflix on March 11.

After accidentally crash-landing in 2022, time-traveling fighter pilot Adam Reed teams up with his 12-year-old self on a mission to save the future.
