While a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore was supposed to be released online last week, Warner Bros. decided to hold-off due to the current situation in Ukraine. It looks like the studio is gearing up to release the new trailer, however, as a gorgeous new poster for the film has just been released!
Warner Bros. just released a brand new trailer for the next instalment of the Harry Potter prequel series on social media and as far as posters go, this is a pretty good one! Giving us a new look at the films heroes and villains, including Jude Law’s Dumbledore, Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander and Mads Mikkelsen’s Grindelwald. The poster also teases the return of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the movie, which will undoubtedly excite fans of the Harry Potter films.

The screenplay for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore was written by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling alongside screenwriter Steve Kloves, who worked on the Harry Potter movies. Filmmaker David Yates, who directed the first two Fantastic Beasts movies and four of the Harry Potter films, has returned to direct The Secrets Of Dumbledore.
Many of the characters you know and love from the first two Fantastic Beasts films will return, such as Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander and Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore along with Ezra Miller (Credence/Aurelius Dumbledore), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) and Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein). Comedian and actor Jessica Williams, who had a brief appearance in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, will return as Ilvermorny professor Eulalie ‘Lally’ Hicks, while Mads Mikkelsen will debut as the villainous Gellert Grindelwald.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be released in UK cinemas on April 8, 2022.
