First Look At ‘Indiana Jones 5’ Released

The first-look at James Mangold’s untitled Indiana Jones 5 has been released, showing Harrison Ford wearing the iconic costume.

Ford made a surprise appearance at Star Wars Celebration, sharing the first-look at Indiana Jones 5 and telling fans that he’s “very proud of the movie that we made”.

Indiana Jones 5 is directed by Logan and Le Mans ’66 filmmaker James Mangold, making it the first Indiana Jones movie to not be directed by Steven Spielberg. While it’s not exactly clear what made Spielberg walk away from the directors chair, the iconic filmmaker is still serving as a producer on the film. The film also marks the first time that George Lucas (Star Wars) hasn’t been involved in an Indiana Jones movie. The Star Wars creator was massively involved in the development of every other film in the Indiana Jones franchise.

Alongside Ford, Indiana Jones 5 will star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas and Olivier Richters in unknown roles.

Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released in cinemas on June 30, 2023.
