Marvel Studios has released a joke-filled final trailer for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love And Thunder, which is packed with hilarious new footage of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor, Taika Waititi’s Kong and Christian Bale’s villainous Gorr.
The latest look at Thor: Love And Thunder puts the comedic tone front and centre, teasing another hilarious ride with Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder. It’s not all about the laughs though, as the trailer also gives us glimpses of what appears to be a few massive action sequences, with Thor assembling the “greatest team ever” to take down Gorr.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder sees the return of Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who is now the Mighty Thor. Oscar winner Christian Bale will also be making his return to the superhero genre as Gorr the God Butcher. The cast also incudes Jaime Alexander as Sif, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Taika Waititi as Korg, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Vin Diesel as Groot.
“The fourth installment finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods,” says the synopsis. “To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”
Thor: Love And Thunder will arrive in cinemas on July 8, 2022.
