After delivering perhaps it’s most impressive San Diego Comic-Con presentation ever, Marvel Studios has released the emotional first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The stunning Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer gives us our first look at the film, which was obviously impacted by the heartbreaking loss of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman.
The trailer appears to confirm that T’Challa’s death will be included in the film, with Angela Bassett’s Ramona and Letitia Wright’s Shuri seen mourning the loss of their King and beloved Son/Brother. As you can see for yourself below, the trailer also gives us our first look at Namor, who has been long-rumoured to appear in the film – as well as a mysterious character wearing a new Black Panther costume.
Directed by Ryan Cooler, ho also helmed the first film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright as Shuri, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Angela Bassett as Ramonda and Martin Freeman as Everett K Ross. The film will also include the MCU debut of Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, aka Ironheart – who can be seen multiple times in the new trailer. Other newcomers include Michaela Coel and Tenoch Huerta. Huerta has been officially confirmed to be portraying Namor in the movie.
