We’re just hours away from the early-access release of Hogwarts Legacy, and we can’t stop thinking about all of the magical locations, both old and new, that we’ll be able to explore.
Hogwarts Legacy will introduce us to a new corner of the Wizarding World, giving players the ability to explore new locations and meet new characters. Since the game is taking place primarily at Hogwarts, however, there are many locations that fans of the Harry Potter books and movies will know and love. Here’s our picks for the locations we’re most excited to explore when we jump into the game.
The Common Rooms
This might seem like an obvious one, but the school common rooms are something we’re particularly excited about in Hogwarts Legacy. each room has a unique look and feel, making the choice of which Hogwarts House to join infinitely more difficult.
The Forbidden Forest
When it comes to the grounds of Hogwarts, there’s one location that we just can’t wait to explore. The Forbidden Forest is one of Hogwarts’ most dangerous and intriguing locations, so we can’t wait to jump on our broom and see what dangers lurk in the darkness.
The Room Of Requirement
Another Hogwarts location that we’re excited to explore is the Room of Requirement, which will undoubtedly be one of the most exciting locations in the game. Players will be able to personalise the look and feel of the Room of Requirement, meaning no two players will have the same room.
Secret Passages
Hogwarts castle is known for having more than a few secret passages, so we’re hoping Hogwarts Legacy will give players the chance to find new hidden corridors and discover cool shortcuts through the castle. How else are we expected to get to class on time?
Hogsmeade
We’re not exactly sure how many iconic Harry Potter locations will be explorable in Hogwarts Legacy, but it has been revealed that Hogsmeade Village is fully open to players. Hogsmeade is one of the Harry Potter series’ most iconic and enjoyable locations, so we can’t wait to get our warm clothes on and explore the many shops (and pubs) in the area. Anyone fancy a Butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks?
